Why Badger Ordnance
Badger Ordnance has made scope mounts and bolt gun parts for over 30 years, and the Marines, Navy, Army, Air Force and Coast Guard all buy from it. It's precision rifle hardware first.
The rings are machined from steel or aluminum bar stock as serialized matched pairs in 30mm, 34mm and 35mm, and the Condition One line covers modular, MAX and red dot mounts. It also makes bolt knobs, extractors, recoil lugs, trigger guards and muzzle devices.
Most of the catalog fits bolt actions like Remington, Winchester, FN and Savage, so only a slice crosses over to an AR, and rings run around $225. We'd buy Badger rings for a scope you plan to keep for good.
