Why Berger Bullets
Berger started with Walt Berger making benchrest bullets by hand in his garage, and benchrest shooters still use them. Norway's Nammo, which also owns Lapua and Vihtavuori, bought the company.
The line centers on VLD and Hybrid match bullets, made in the USA to match grade standards, plus loaded ammo. Berger also makes the J4 jackets that custom bullet makers build on.
These are long range bullets, more bolt gun than AR, and they cost more than bulk loads. We'd use Berger if you load for a precision AR and want match bullets.
