Why Buffalo Bore

Tim Sundles founded Buffalo Bore in 1997 in Salmon, Idaho. The first loads were for the .475 and .500 Linebaugh revolver rounds, and the catalog now runs past 200 loads.

Heavy and +P loads are the specialty. The 9mm +P+ pushes a 124 grain JHP past 1,350 fps from a 5 inch barrel, and hard cast flat nose bullets are its bear country loads. Loads get tested on real game.

+P+ ammo adds wear and recoil, so check that your gun is rated for it. We'd carry Buffalo Bore in bear country, not shoot it at the range.
