About CZ USA
CZ-USA is the US sales and service arm of Czech gunmaker Ceska zbrojovka, known here for Scorpion 9mm carbines and pistols and the Bren 2 rifle.
Founded 1997, Kansas City, Kansas · Czech parent · US service center
Why CZ USA
CZ-USA is the US sales and service arm of Ceska zbrojovka, the Czech gunmaker, based in Kansas City, Kansas. It's the same group that bought Colt in 2021.
The Scorpion is the gun AR and PCC builders know. The Evo 3 is a mostly polymer 9mm, sold here as the semi auto S1 in pistol, carbine and short barreled versions, with an M-LOK handguard and a top Picatinny rail.
The rest of the line covers the Bren 2 rifle in 5.56 NATO and 7.62x39, the P-10 and P-09 strikers, the Shadow 2 and CZ 75 pistols, 457 rimfires and 600 bolt guns. CZ offers a lifetime barrel warranty you have to activate.
Scorpions take their own mags and parts, not AR ones, so plan for that. Clear aftermarket Scorpion mags exist too.
We'd look at a Scorpion if you want a 9mm carbine that isn't an AR. For a pistol, the P-10 is worth a look next to the usual names.
- The Scorpion EVO 3 is a mostly polymer 9mm, sold in the US as a semi auto civilian version.
- The Bren 2 is chambered in 5.56 NATO and 7.62x39.
