Diamondback ranked #68 of 323 brands on GunPartPicker in September 2026, just behind Noveske, with about 1 in every 500 parts builders added. Up from #85 in August. Builders reached for Diamondback mostly for complete rifle parts. The most added single part was the Diamondback DB15 AR Lower, Black - DB2210R001, taking the top spot from the Diamondback Firearms DB15 5.56x45mm 16" AR Rifle, Green/Gold - DB175AK801.

Complete rifles were the busiest Diamondback category in September: 40 products came back in stock, several more than once, and demand for them rose about 65% on August. About 54% of the 204 Diamondback products we track are in stock today.

Why Diamondback

Diamondback grew out of Diamondback Airboats, a Cocoa, Florida boat builder started in 1989. The shop made gun parts for other companies first, and Diamondback started selling its own guns in 2009. It's still family owned and still machines in Florida.

The DB15 is the rifle people know. The Diamond Series version has a 16 inch 4150 CrMoV barrel in black nitride, a 1:8 twist, a mid-length gas system with a pinned gas block, a CMC 3.5 pound drop-in trigger and a Magpul ACS-L stock. It weighs about 7.15 pounds.

Around it sit the DB10 in .308, the DBX 5.7 pistol, the tiny DB380 and DB9 carry pistols and the SDR revolvers. Diamondback also sells its AR barrels on their own.

A Diamondback rifle goes for about $705 against roughly $920 for a typical complete rifle, and it's the fourth most added complete rifle. Its barrels run about $85 against roughly $200. Builds with Diamondback parts take an Aero receiver 43% of the time, a budget pairing that adds up.

The trade-off is polish. The muzzle brake on the Diamond Series is loud enough to annoy everyone at the bench, and the furniture works but may not be what you'd choose. Plan on swapping a part or two.

Diamondback moved into suppressors at SHOT Show 2026 with the Ventra line: a 5.56 can at $998, a .30 caliber can at $1,148 and a rimfire can at $575, all made in Cocoa with Inconel 718 blast baffles. About half its listings were in stock in early October.

We'd buy a DB15 if you want a working rifle for well under the going rate and don't mind changing the brake. On a budget build, a Diamondback barrel frees up money for the trigger.
