About Forster
Forster makes reloading and gunsmithing tools: the Co-Ax press, case trimmers, headspace gauges and neck reamers.
Founded 1935, Made in USA · Reloading tools · Headspace gauges · Gunsmithing tools
Why Forster
Forster has made reloading and gunsmithing tools in the USA since 1935. Some parts are held as tight as three ten thousandths of an inch.
The Co-Ax press is the flagship, and the shop also makes case trimmers, bushing sizing dies, the Datum Dial and a neck tension gauge. For gunsmiths there are headspace gauges, chamber reamers and sight mounting fixtures, plus Glider match bullets.
For an AR builder, a Forster headspace gauge is the part to own. We'd check every new bolt and barrel pair with one before the first shot.
- Some Forster tools are held to tolerances as tight as .0003 inch.
