Glock ranks #25 of 368 brands on GunPartPicker so far in October 2026, just behind KAK Industry, with about 1% of every part builders added. Up from #36 in September. Builders are reaching for Glock mostly for complete glock pistol parts. The most added single part is the Glock 19 Gen 5, on top again this month.

Why Glock

Glock is the Austrian company that made the first commercially successful line of polymer framed pistols, and it took over police holsters. A huge aftermarket of barrels, sights, slides and triggers grew up behind it.

The G19 is the one most people mean. The new G19 V has a 4.02 inch Marksman Barrel, weighs 21.52 ounces without a magazine, holds 15 rounds, and adds front serrations, an ambidextrous slide stop and an nDLC finish. Safe Action uses three passive safeties that clear as you pull.

The V series also covers the G17 V, G19X V, G45 V, G26 V, G23 V, G44 V and MOS versions of the G20 and G21. The slim G42, G43, G43X and G48 carry on, and Gen6 G17, G19 and G45 pistols went on sale in January 2026.

In the Glock builder, a real Glock is the base pistol in 82% of builds, at a typical $540 paid.

The knocks haven't changed in decades: plastic stock sights, a so-so trigger and a blocky grip that doesn't suit every hand.

The lineup changed under everyone's feet. Glock stopped shipping most Gen3, Gen4 and Gen5 double stacks on November 30, 2025. The V series replaced them with new trigger bars, slide rails and rear plates meant to block auto switches, and current Glock Performance triggers won't fit a V.

We'd start with a G19 V or Gen6 G19 and a set of steel sights. If you already own Glock parts, check they fit the new pistols before you buy.
