Why Bobro Engineering
Bobro Engineering makes quick detach optic mounts and scope rings, and the QD mounts are known for returning to zero after you pull and reinstall the optic.
The LBX rings are 7075 aluminum with a vertical split and an interlocking labyrinth joint. The Compact Low mount, 3.825 inches of 6061 and 7075, clears the ejection port on rifles like the M1A. There's also the KOFN pivoting light mount and an offset dot mount.
These cost more than most mounts, with a QD scope mount around $325. We'd buy one if you swap optics between rifles and need the zero to hold.
