Why Sterling
Sterling is Turkish ammo made by Turac at its plant in Cankiri, about 80 km from Ankara. Turac has made metallic ammo since 2013 and supplies Turkish police and security forces.
In the US it's cheap range ammo in steel and brass case, in 9mm, 5.56, 7.62x39 and shotgun loads. The steel case 9mm isn't reloadable, and its steel jacket bullet sticks to a magnet.
Some ranges don't allow steel jacketed bullets, so check first. We'd buy the brass case loads for practice.
