Solid Stuff
Solid trigger from Schmid. Installed it on my duty rifle and it's been flawless for the last 2 years. no issues at all, just goes bang every time. Probably the best USA made trigger I've used. Definitely worth the money.

Schmid Tool is a family owned machine shop in Villa Park, Illinois, started in 1943 as a tool and die shop and now on its third generation.
It runs CNC mills and Swiss lathes to about half a thousandth, and makes firearm parts for law enforcement, defense contractors and other gun makers, often under their names. On the AR that means triggers, hammers and selectors.
Its triggers come in cheap, about $45 against roughly $165 for the typical trigger. Finding one is the problem: in early October none of its listings across stores were in stock.
We'd grab a Schmid trigger when one turns up, as a budget mil spec part from a shop that mostly builds for other brands.

got this safety selector for my new build. its okay i guess. not super impressed with the finish but it works well enough. maybe im just a tough grader but i feel like there are better options out there for the price. it does the job though so i cant really complain i suppose. maybe ill try a different brand next time.
