Why True Velocity
True Velocity makes ammo with polymer composite cases instead of brass. It was founded in 2012 and delivered over a million rounds to the U.S. military as a finalist in the Next Generation Squad Weapon program.
The cases are up to 30% lighter than brass. They also run more consistently and make less heat, which helps barrel life. Calibers include 5.56, .308, 6.8 TVCM and .50 BMG.
It has grown past ammo too, with recoil mitigated rifles from its Lone Star Future Weapons purchase and suppressors from Delta P Design. Retail ammo sells at Bass Pro and Cabela's and through a subscription.
