Overview

`Scope MountPicatinny1" TubeBlackAR-15 / AR-10`

The American Defense Manufacturing AD-RECON-S 20 MOA is a Picatinny-compatible scope mount designed to secure 1-inch tube optics. This mount features a 20 MOA forward cant, which provides additional elevation adjustment for long-range engagements by pre-loading the optic's internal adjustment range. Its lever-actuated quick-detach mechanism allows for rapid installation and removal without tools. GPP build data shows this mount is commonly selected for precision-oriented AR-15 builds. Builders on GPP frequently pair the AD-RECON-S with optics from brands like Vortex and Leupold, often in conjunction with 18-inch or 20-inch barrels. Its quick-detach functionality is often utilized in builds intended for multiple optic configurations.

Pros

+Picatinny mounting interface is compatible with the most common rail systems in the GPP catalog.
+Black finish aligns with the most common aesthetic choice for optic mounts on GPP.
+Quick-detach lever system allows for repeatable zero upon remounting, a feature less common among fixed-mount alternatives.
+Integrated 20 MOA cant is beneficial for maximizing elevation adjustment on optics used for extended range shooting.
