Coming from a 90 degree selector the ST45 is a real improvement for fast manipulation. Both sides line up perfectly which not all ambi selectors do. The detent click is sharp but not loud. Fits any standard mil spec lower without modification.
45 degree short throw saves a fraction of a second on the safety sweep. ambi paddles are sized correctly. one nit, the anodize on mine had a slight matte vs satin shift between paddles, only visible side by side. function is correct
