Christensen Arms
Overview
The Christensen Arms Ultralight scope rings provide a high mounting solution for 30mm optic tubes. Constructed from anodized aluminum, these rings utilize a Picatinny interface for attachment to a receiver or handguard. This design securely clamps the optic to the rifle, maintaining zero under recoil. GPP build data shows these rings are commonly integrated into precision-oriented AR-15 builds. They are frequently paired with lightweight barrel profiles and 30mm tube optics from various manufacturers, often on builds emphasizing reduced overall weight.
Pros
- +High mounting height, one of the most common configurations in the GPP catalog, providing clearance for larger objective lenses or specific stock setups.
- +30mm optic tube diameter, the most common size, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of optics in the GPP catalog.
- +Picatinny mounting interface, the most common standard, for broad compatibility with AR-15 platforms.
- +Black anodized finish, the most common color in the GPP catalog, for a consistent aesthetic with most rifle components.
Trade-offs
- −This product uses a two-piece scope ring configuration, which is the second most common; most products in this category use a one-piece scope mount.
