Overview
The Talley Lightweight Scope Mount is a two-piece ring and base system machined from 7000 series alloy. This mount is designed to secure a 1-inch diameter scope tube at a medium height, and is specifically configured for Bergara Premier actions with 8-40 screws and a 20 MOA cant for extended range zeroing. GPP build data shows this mount is commonly selected for precision rifle builds. Builders on GPP frequently pair this mount with 1-inch tube optics from manufacturers like Leupold and Vortex.
Pros
- +Machined from 7000 series alloy for a balance of strength and weight.
- +Integrated ring and base design reduces potential points of failure and simplifies installation.
- +20 MOA cant is integrated, assisting in longer-range zeroing for optics with limited elevation travel.
- +Designed for Bergara Premier actions with 8-40 screws, providing a secure and precise fit for compatible receivers.
Trade-offs
- −This mount uses a Medium height, a less common option compared to the High height mounts that are most prevalent in the GPP catalog.
- −The 1" optic tube diameter is less common compared to the 30mm diameter mounts that are most prevalent in the GPP catalog.
