YHM 16.5 inch threaded fluted barrel in 1:8 twist has run a couple hundred rounds without copper fouling becoming an issue. Quick patch cleans it. Fluting saves weight versus a standard government profile. Threading was concentric.
1-8 twist handled 55gr through 77gr SMK well. fluting saves a few oz off a standard contour. crown is recessed and clean, no eccentricity i could see with a bore light. mid-length gas port was right at the spec listed
