Why A.R.M.S.
A.R.M.S., Inc. was founded in 1980 by Dick Swan and family in West Bridgewater, Massachusetts. Its dovetail design was adopted in 1995 as the Mil-Std 1913 rail, the Picatinny rail you know today.
The catalog covers throw lever mounts, iron sights, rail systems and scope rings, all made in the USA. The MK-II Lever has a finger tip adjustment wheel to set tension, so it clamps right even on rails that are slightly out of spec.
The company holds over 100 patents and its parts have gone to the US military. We'd buy an A.R.M.S. throw lever mount if you pull your optic on and off and want it tight every time.
