Why Pachmayr
Pachmayr is the rubber grip and recoil pad name, around since 1929 and part of Lyman since 1996.
Current grips are the Diamond Pro, G10, Renegade and American Legend lines, mostly for revolvers and classic handguns. Glock owners know it for grip sleeves, extenders and magazine spacers.
Rubber grips add a bit of bulk, which helps recoil but not concealment. We'd use a Pachmayr pad on a hard kicking shotgun or a grip sleeve on a slick polymer frame.
- Current grip lines are the Diamond Pro, G10 and Renegade.
