Why Strike Industries

Strike Industries started in 2010 and works out of Las Vegas. It makes affordable AR add-ons with a look all their own, from charging handles and stocks to brakes, handguards and small controls.

The small parts are the draw. The Enhanced Bolt Catch is solid steel with a much wider paddle and listed at $13.95. The carbine flat wire buffer spring is cryo treated 17-7 PH steel, 13 7/8 inches with 35 coils, made to cut the twang and add bolt load.

Past that there's the ARCH charging handle in forged 7075-T6, the 6.6 oz MOD1 stock, the Oppressor blast shield and a long list of compensators. At SHOT 2026 it showed a P90 chassis, polymer folding stocks for about $100 and a prototype 9mm carbine.

Strike makes the most added buffer spring, in 54% of builds that have one, and the most added bolt catch at about $15, the slot's usual price. Its mag release leads its slot too, though at about $38 it costs more than the typical $29 one.

The knock is style. The looks are love it or hate it, and the oversized parts don't always play nice with other add-ons. The wide bolt catch, for one, may clash with a BAD lever.

We'd start with the bolt catch and the flat wire spring. They're cheap, quick to install and hard to get wrong.

  • The extended latch charging handle is forged 7075-T6 aluminum, and the aluminum latch wears your receiver less than a steel one.
  • The MOD1 stock slides onto a mil-spec buffer tube, weighs 6.6 oz and has QD sling points on both sides.
  • Strike also makes compensators, muzzle brakes, magazines and optic mounts for AR rifles, pistols and other guns.

solid

Got this strike industries lpk for my latest build. Seems well made, no problems with the install. Not the fanciest parts but they get the job done. Can't really complain for the price
