About Wheeler

Why Wheeler

Wheeler makes gunsmithing and scope mounting tools as part of American Outdoor Brands, which split from Smith & Wesson in 2020.

The F.A.T. torque wrench is the tool most people own, at about $90, or $112 for the digital one. There's also the AR Armorer's Ultra Kit at about $426, upper and lower receiver tools, anti cant levels, bore sighters, rings and mounts.

These are home bench tools at hobby prices. We'd buy the F.A.T. wrench before your first scope install so the rings get torqued to spec.

  • The scope mounting line includes anti cant tools, bore sighters, mounting tools, rings and mounts.
  • AR tools include armorer kits and upper and lower receiver tools.
