Dimpled face better grip
Reviewed on April 27, 2026Verified with Build

The dimpled face on the Phase 5 PMR gives a more positive press surface than a smooth button. Gray anodize is unique, not many parts in this color. Drop-in fitment with the standard catch spring. Doesnt accidentally drop mags during recoil but light enough to press easily.

Gray dimpled mag

dimpled face on the mag release button is the differentiator, your thumb grips even with wet hands. gray anodize is closer to titanium than dark gray. phase 5 quality across the line

PMR dimpled gray
Reviewed on March 30, 2026Verified with Build

phase 5 dimpled mag release button in gray anodize. dimples give the thumb actual purchase, more positive than a smooth button. install is the standard mag catch swap. gray pairs with the PMR mag catch on the other side

Looks great no extras included
Reviewed on March 10, 2026Verified with Build

The PMR mag release is more textured than the standard which helps with cold or wet hands. The dimpled face is exactly what I wanted for grip. Gray anodizing matches my Phase 5 lower well. Only gripe is at this price I expected a spring or pin in the box.
