Perfect for a Custom Build

Got this for a new AR-15 project and the stripped nature was exactly what I needed. Wanted full control over every component. The black finish is deep and consistent. No issues installing a mag catch or trigger guard, everything lined up. It’s a solid, robust piece of gear, ideal for a high-performance custom build. Happy with the material choice and overall machining.

Distinctive Look, Excellent Foundation

Finally got my hands on the Showdown lower, and it's even better in person. The unique design really sets it apart from a sea of mil-spec receivers without being over the top. Build quality is top-notch, as expected from 7075-T6 aluminum. Every pin hole was perfectly reamed, and my LPK went in smoothly. No slop with my BCM upper, either. This is definitely going to be the heart of my next 300 Blackout pistol build. Sharps Bros knocked it out of the park.
