solid BCG
Just got this Brownells BCG. Seems really solid, nice finish and good weight. Cycled great in my upper, no issues with 300 rounds so far. Definitely reliable. Maybe a bit more money than other brands but you get what you pay for.

Brownells is the big Iowa parts and gunsmithing supplier that carries almost everything, plus its own Brownells branded parts like the BRN-180 upper.
Founded 1939, Montezuma, Iowa · Retailer and parts maker · Guaranteed Forever returns · Gunsmithing supplies
Brownells has supplied parts and gunsmithing tools from Montezuma, Iowa since 1939. Beyond carrying nearly every brand, it sells its own Brownells branded parts and uppers.
The BRN-180 is the standout. It's a short stroke piston upper based on the AR-180 that drops onto any mil-spec AR-15 lower, with twin guide rods and no buffer tube, so it fires with a folding stock folded.
It has a .223 Wylde chamber, 1 in 8 twist, a side charging handle and a free float M-LOK handguard, and it was designed with PWS and FM Products.
Brownells bolt carriers run about $120 against roughly $200 for the typical one, and its uppers sit right at the typical $400.
Guaranteed Forever lets you return almost anything Brownells sells except guns, ammo and powder, for a refund within 45 days or store credit after.
We'd buy a Brownells carrier for a budget build, and the BRN-180 if you want a folding AR on the lower you already own.
