Good parts
Spike's Tactical AR-15 parts are solid. I've used them in a couple of builds now and they've held up well. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the shipping was a bit slow, but the parts themselves are great.

Founded 2001, Apopka, Florida, Made in USA · Lifetime warranty · Forged lowers · Tungsten buffers
Spike's Tactical was started by Spike and Angela Register in Apopka, Florida in 2001, and it makes rifles, uppers, lowers and parts there from US materials. Everything it sells carries a lifetime warranty.
The tungsten buffers are its most known parts. Each is a billet aluminum body with tungsten weight and a mil-spec bumper: the ST-T1 at 3 oz, the ST-T2 at 4 oz and the ST-T3 at 5 to 5.4 oz with sliding weights. The T2 is built to shoot soft and keep the buffer quiet.
The Spider lower is forged 7075-T6 with Type III hard coat, and the bolts are Carpenter 158, shot peened, high pressure tested and MPI checked. Past that, the line runs to .308 rifles, the Mini Recluse 9mm PDW, suppressors and a .357 Magnum lever action called the Model 2073.
Spike's buffers are the second most added, in 19% of builds that have one, at about $40 against roughly $57 for a typical buffer. Its dust covers rank third at 20%, and its uppers turn up now and then too.
The trade-off is taste. Spike's leans hard into engravings: the Spider logo on the lowers and port doors with Punisher, Molon Labe, Zombie Killer and more. If you want a plain rifle, check the markings before you order. Under the art, these are mil-spec parts.
We'd start with an ST-T2 buffer if your carbine feels harsh or noisy; it's a cheap fix. An engraved port door is a $10 way to make an upper yours.
