Why TriggerTech
TriggerTech grew out of a crossbow trigger an engineer built in 2012 after a bad hunt. It's now in Colorado Springs, and the AR triggers use the same idea: a free floating roller between the sear and trigger, so there's no creep before the break.
The Adaptable is the main AR model. It's a short two stage with a 7075 aluminum housing and 440C stainless internals, adjustable from 2.5 to 5 lb in 2 oz steps, with reset under 0.030 inch. It fits AR-15, AR-10 and AR-9 lowers. Diamond, Primary and Competitive models round out the line.
It's the trigger in about 3% of AR builds, at around $245 against roughly $165 for the typical trigger. The safety turns up in about 4%, at around $55 against $45.
The warranty is narrower than most: lifetime on manufacturing defects, but handling defects only for 30 days. And you're paying about $80 over an average trigger.
We'd buy the Adaptable if you want one trigger you can tune for both a precision rifle and a carbine.
