Spikes Tactical carbine length melonite gas tube has fit and finish that matches the rest of my build. Pin holes line up correctly. The melonite resists carbon buildup. Cycles reliably on a 14.5 mid build over a few hundred rounds.
Standard Spikes carbine gas tube on a 14.5 mid build that needed to go back to carbine length. Roll pin spot was correctly located. Melonite finish makes carbon cleanup quick after suppressed sessions. No spring fatigue after a hard summer of training.
