Installed this on a budget AR build that uses a rifle-length gas system. It functions as expected and has been reliable so far. The carbon steel construction feels durable, and the nitride coating should offer good protection against fouling and corrosion. BCM BCG cycles smoothly with it. Definitely a solid choice for the price point.
Went with this YHM tube for a new rifle-length 5.56 build. The nitride finish looks good and it seems to be holding up well after a few range trips. No gas leaks or issues with the BCG cycling. Good value part.
