Why Griffin Armament

Griffin Armament was started in 2005 by brothers Austin and Evan Green, both active duty Army snipers. Everything is built in Watertown, Wisconsin, and it calls itself the oldest privately owned suppressor maker in the US.

Griffin pioneered tubeless suppressors, modular length pistol cans and universal multi caliber cans. The Bushwhacker is the universal can, alongside the Recce, Optimus, PRC and EXPLORR, on Taper Mount and other mounts.

It also makes MK2 AR-15 and AR-9 lowers, QD optic mounts, rings and muzzle devices.

Its cans run about $670 against roughly $900 for the typical suppressor and fill about 3% of suppressor slots. Its lowers sit right at the typical price, about $210, and take about 3% of lower slots.

The Perpetual Lifetime Warranty covers damage and defects but not loss, theft or misuse. We'd look hard at a Griffin can if you want one suppressor across several calibers.
