solid stuff. no issues.
Got this maxim defense buffer tube. Seems solid, no issues so far. Paired it with a cmmg bcg and it runs great. Not super fancy but gets the job done.

Maxim Defense makes the compact CQB stock, plus suppressors and short rifles built to run suppressed.
St. Cloud, Minnesota · CQB stock · Suppressors · ISO 9001
Maxim Defense is a St. Cloud, Minnesota company that builds around short, suppressed rifles. The CQB stock is how most AR owners meet it.
The CQB is an MP5 style telescoping stock in 7075 aluminum. It runs from about 5.4 to 10 inches in four positions, weighs about 18.6 ounces and uses a JP Silent Captured Spring, with standard, heavy and 9mm buffer options.
The rest of the line is SDX and PDX short rifles, SCW and CCS stocks, and suppressors. The PRS can is a three piece titanium and aluminum design at about 10.8 ounces that comes apart with common tools.
It's expensive for a stock. These sell for about $340 against roughly $55 for the typical stock, and Maxim buffers run about $135 against roughly $55.
The short length of pull suits armor and short barrels, not long range comfort, and the stock needs its own buffer system. We'd buy a CQB for a compact SBR or pistol build and skip it on a standard carbine.
