About Modlite
Modlite makes high output weapon light heads like the OKW and PLH that fit a SureFire style body.
Made in USA · Weapon lights · SureFire compatible · Lifetime guarantee
Why Modlite
Modlite makes weapon light heads that bolt onto a SureFire style body, so you can upgrade a light without replacing the whole thing. The heads are hand assembled and tested in the US.
The OKW is the thrower: about 680 lumens and 69,000 candela in a tight beam that reaches past 250 yards. The PLH is the opposite, around 1,500 lumens with a wide beam for indoors.
Both use a hard anodized 6061 bezel and BOROFLOAT glass, and run 18350 or 18650 bodies. Complete lights have run about $330 to $350, and heads alone about $250.
Finding one is the hard part. In early October only about 29% of Modlite listings across stores were in stock. A lifetime guarantee backs the lights.
We'd pick the OKW for a rifle with a magnified optic and the PLH for a home defense gun, and grab whichever is in stock.
- Modlite heads swap onto existing SureFire M600DF setups.
- The heads use a hard anodized 6061 aluminum bezel and a BOROFLOAT glass lens.
- The OKW head is hand assembled and tested in the USA.
- Modlite lights come with a lifetime guarantee.
