BCM makes mil-spec AR uppers, barrels and bolt carriers, and it test fires every complete upper and bolt carrier group before it ships.
Founded 2003, Hartland, Wisconsin, Made in USA · Mil-spec parts · Test fired uppers · Chrome lined barrels · Veteran founded
Bravo Company was started in 2003 by a Marine veteran to supply security contractors who couldn't get mil-spec parts overseas. It still builds to that standard, and every complete upper and bolt carrier group is test fired before it ships.
The bolt carrier group is the part to know. The bolt is Carpenter 158 steel, shot peened, high pressure tested and magnetic particle inspected, the carrier is chrome lined inside, and the gas key is staked on grade 8 screws. It sells for $199.
Complete uppers are the other big seller, on chrome lined 11595E barrels or BFH cold hammer forged ones, with handguards like the KMR. The Gunfighter charging handles are 7075-T6 with Mod 4 and Mod 4x4 latches, and BCM also makes stocks, grips and the PNT trigger.
It's the most added upper, bolt carrier and buffer tube. The bolt carrier sits right on the typical price at about $199 and lands in 25% of builds that have one, and the buffer tube costs about $39 against roughly $46 and shows up in 40% of builds with a tube.
The trade-off is price on the big parts. A complete BCM upper runs about $819 against roughly $400 for the typical upper, and it's built to a mil-spec standard rather than loaded with features.
Stock is good right now. In early October about three quarters of BCM listings across stores were in stock.
We'd start with the bolt carrier and buffer tube, since they cost the same or less than average. Buy the complete upper when you want a rifle that just runs and don't mind paying double.

Honestly, I've been looking for a good quality handguard for my AR build for months and I'm so glad I went with this one from Bravo Company. The machining is top notch, the finish is flawless, and the weight is perfect. Installed it myself and couldn't be happier. Highly recommend this to anyone in the market for an AR handguard.
Got this handguard last month, dropped it on my latest build. no probs so far, feels really sturdy. 10/10 would buy again
this BCG is awesome, ive put a few hundred rounds through it and its held up great. zero issues. smooth as butter. good stuff from bravo.
Just put this bravo company barrel on my rifle. Went to the range and put about 300 rounds through it with no problems. Seems like a quality barrel, we'll see how it holds up long term but so far so good.
Meh, it's alright I guess. Works fine I suppose. No complaints really.
Honestly this bravo company trigger is the best I've ever used in an AR. The break is super clean and the reset is crisp. Makes my groupings tighter for sure. Installed it myself and had zero issues. Can't recommend it enough if you're looking to upgrade the trigger on your build.
So I needed a new upper for my AR and this one from bravo caught my eye. It's not the fanciest or lightest out there but it gets the job done. Seems well made and the finish is nice. Sighted it in and it shoots straight. No complaints really, just not quite 5 star imo
