This buffer is definitely on the heavier side, as expected for a rifle-weight. It helped tame some recoil on my 20" AR. I did have to adjust my gas block a bit more than with a lighter carbine buffer, but it runs reliably now. Overall happy with the performance for a dedicated rifle setup.
Got this for my new 16" 5.56 build with a rifle-length gas tube. Cycles perfectly, no issues at all. Smooth operation is key and this buffer delivers.
