Faxon Chameleon BCG is well built underneath the rainbow finish. 8620 carrier, HPT/MPI bolt, properly staked gas key. The chameleon coating catches light differently from every angle. Cycles smoothly on a 16 inch carbine.
faxon nitride BCG with the chameleon polished finish, looks sharp through the dust cover. lockup is positive, headspace measured correct. carrier was tight in the upper for the first 50 rds, broke in clean after that
Faxon Chameleon BCG has smooth action thanks to the nitride coating. The rainbow oil-slick finish catches light differently from every angle. Quality 8620 carrier underneath. Properly staked gas key. HPT/MPI tested bolt.
Faxon Chameleon BCG has weak extractor spring out of the box - had failure to extract issues until I swapped to a Sprinco extractor spring. Now functions correctly. The rainbow finish is what most people buy this for and it delivers visually.
Faxons Chameleon BCG has the rainbow oil slick finish that catches light differently from every angle. Underneath the cosmetic is a properly built 8620 carrier with HPT/MPI bolt. Smooth cycling on a 16 inch carbine. Worth the bump over a black nitride for the look alone.
Faxon Chameleon BCG ran tight for the first 50 rounds before breaking in. Now cycles cleanly. The rainbow oil-slick finish is the main draw. Underneath is a properly machined 8620 carrier.
