You can tell this San Tan BCG is quality from the moment you hold it. The nitride finish is perfect, super slick, and the enhanced carrier design just works. No issues whatsoever, even with rapid fire. A fantastic upgrade for any AR-15, especially if you're building a mid-length gas system rifle. Definitely recommend this component.
San Tan Tactical enhanced BCG runs well except the factory extractor spring was on the weak side, had occasional failure to extract on the first range trip. Swapped to a Sprinco extractor spring and its been reliable since. Nitride finish wipes clean.
Running this San Tan BCG in my main 5.56 build and its been super reliable. The enhanced carrier really does make a difference in felt recoil and keeping things consistent, especially with different ammo types. Only minor issue was a tiny cosmetic ding on the gas key screw when it arrived, but didnt affect function at all. Still a solid piece of kit for the money.
This San Tan Enhanced BCG is legit. Ran it in my mid-length build and the nitride finish made clean up a breeze. Super smooth operation and no malfunctions over several hundred rounds. The custom carrier design definitely seems to help with gas flow, keeping things consistent.
