Streamlight ProTac HL-X at 1000 lumens with the integrated tape switch is bright enough for most home defense or duty uses. Rail clamp tightens with the included thumbscrew. Switch placement is on the body, not separate.
Streamlight ProTac HL-X is bright at 1000 lumens. Mount clamps positively to picatinny. Tape switch is functional but stiffer than I would like - takes more thumb pressure than my Surefire switches.
