extended forward assist is easier to thumb than mil spec. install required an extra step because the detent on my SI lower had a slight burr, swiped it with a chamfer pick and the assist seated. once installed function is correct
Strike Industries lightweight low profile FA in FDE has a solid feel for a lightweight part. Anodize matches Magpul FDE well. Spring tension is correct, pawl moves smoothly. Roll pin alignment was first try with a brass punch.
