Overview
The Vortex Optics Strike Eagle 1-8x24 Rifle Scope is a versatile low-power variable optic (LPVO) designed for quick target acquisition and precise shooting. With a magnification range from 1X to 8X, it offers a wide field of view at lower magnifications and tight grouping capabilities at higher settings, making it suitable for various shooting scenarios. The illuminated red MOA reticle in the second focal plane enhances visibility in low-light conditions, while the 140 MOA total elevation and windage adjustments allow for fine-tuning your aim. This scope commonly appears in builds featuring a mid-length gas system and chambered for 5.56 NATO.

Vortex Strike Eagle 1-8x24 LPVO has clear glass and the AR-BDC3 reticle is useful out to 600. Eye box is tighter than my red dot which slows acquisition at speed. At 1x its not a true red dot replacement.
