WMD Nitromet bolt catch has the dark nitride finish thats slightly different shade than my other nitride parts in direct light. Mechanically perfect, drops in any milspec lower. The nitride coating wears well over time, more durable than parkerized.
WMD does nitride well and a bolt catch is one of those parts that scratches up over time. The Nitromet finish here is darker than parkerization and seems to handle wear. Fitment to my Aero lower was textbook, install in 10 minutes.
Picked up the WMD nitromet for the corrosion resistance, never thought about a bolt catch finish before this. After a couple rainy days at the range it still looks new where my old catch had spots of rust. Drop in fitment on an Anderson lower. Solid little upgrade.
WMD Nitromet bolt catch has held up to repeated use without scratching. The nitride finish is more durable than standard parkerized parts. Drop-in fitment on any milspec lower. Solid little upgrade for the cost.
