Why B.E. Meyers
B.E. Meyers has built lasers in Redmond, Washington since 1974. It's a veteran operated defense contractor, and every US military branch, including most special operations units, buys from it.
The MAWL line, out since 2016, is what AR shooters know: a rifle aiming laser and illuminator meant for night vision. The catalog also covers visible, near infrared and SWIR lasers, plus dazzlers.
Finding one is the hard part. In early October none of its listings across stores were in stock.
You also need night vision to get much from an IR laser, and these are priced as military gear. We'd buy a MAWL only once the NODs are already on your helmet.
