Why Firefield
Firefield is the cheaper of Sellmark's two optics brands, sitting under Sightmark. It's built for a first rifle where the optic budget is under $100.
The Impact red dots run from about $48 for the Mini Reflex to about $96 for the XLT. The RapidStrike 1-6x24 LPVO is about $180, and Barrage scopes come with a built in laser for about $120. There are green Charge AR lasers too.
You get what you pay for in glass and durability, and orders were shipping in two to three weeks. We'd use one to get a new rifle running, then upgrade when money allows.
- Firefield sits below Sightmark in Sellmark's lineup, so it's the cheaper of the two.
