Why Foxtrot Mike Products

Foxtrot Mike sells value AR uppers, lowers, barrels and pistols to people building on a budget. The headline product is the bufferless upper.

The Mike-15 upper has its recoil system built in, so there's no buffer tube behind it and a folding stock just works. The Mike-9 does the same for 9mm, and the Monolith takes the idea to a full rifle. Billet lowers come with an ambi safety and a lifetime warranty.

Its lowers run about $275 against roughly $215 for the typical lower, while uppers come in a bit under, about $380 against $400. In early October only about 10% of its listings across stores were in stock.

Bufferless uppers need their own spares, and stock is the real problem right now. We'd buy one for a folding stock build if a dealer has it, and not wait on a backorder.
