Why Reptilia
Reptilia makes optic mounts, grips, stocks and light bodies, all machined in the USA. The mounts are 7075-T6 billet aluminum with Type III hardcoat anodizing.
The ROF-90 is the one most people know. It's a red dot mount that sits at 12 o'clock on Reptilia AUS or Geissele Super Precision 36mm scope mounts, with a spring loaded nitrided steel clamp. Versions fit the Aimpoint ACRO P1 and P2 and the Steiner MPS.
The rest of the line is the AUS, DOT, SADDLE and RMU mount families, CQG grips for AR-15, SR-25 and AK, RECC-E stocks and TORCH light bodies. The RMU started as a request from a Defense Department customer.
Reptilia holds about 5% of the optic mount slot on GunPartPicker builds.
You pay more than for a cast or budget mount, and the ROF-90 only fits certain 36mm scope mounts. The limited lifetime warranty helps. We'd buy one if you already run an AUS or Geissele mount.
