Install took about 15 minutes start to finish on a properly torqued barrel nut. Slightly bulkier than I prefer aesthetically but that's the tradeoff for the extended internal diameter. M-LOK slot positions work well with my grip placement at the front.
Solid handguard, no real mechanical complaints. Only gripe is no integral QD sockets at this price point - had to add my own M-LOK QD mounts. Otherwise build quality is exactly what you'd expect from DD.
Bolted up to my BCM upper without any fitting required. The wider profile takes some getting used to but the internal clearance for a suppressor under the rail is exactly what I bought it for. Anodizing matches a DD upper perfectly.
Heat dissipation is a real step up from my regular MFR. I can rest my hand on it after a 60 round string and it's warm but not painful. Top rail is dead flat with the upper, M-LOK slots are crisp with no flex.
