Spikes Tactical mid length melonite gas tube is a great upgrade over a plain parkerized tube. Melonite resists carbon buildup. Pin holes lined up first try. Cycles a 16 inch carbine reliably. Solid quality budget upgrade.
Used the Spikes gas tube on a mid length 16 inch build. The melonite is holding up after a couple hundred rounds with no carbon staining. Pin alignment was tight but it tapped in with a brass punch. Standard fitment for any mid length gas system.
