Overview
The WMD NiB-X Forward Assist Assembly is a complete assembly designed to ensure reliable manual chambering in your AR-15 platform. Finished with a Nickel Boron coating, it provides enhanced corrosion resistance and smoother operation, which can improve the overall reliability of your build. This forward assist is commonly found in mid-length gas system builds chambered in 5.56 NATO, making it a practical choice for those setups.

NiB finish wipes clean with a rag, no carbon stick. roll pin install was the only fiddly part, hold the spring and detent with one hand while you drive the pin. five min job once you have the order down
nickel boron coating on the assist is slick, looks sharp through the upper window. spring tension is balanced, button engages positive without being mushy. matched this with a NiB BCG for a fully coated upper
