melonite gas tube from aero is one of those parts that just works. roll pin hole was correctly drilled, bend angle is sharp. install dropped onto an aero barrel without filing or shimming
melonite finished carbine gas tube from aero, melonite shrugs off heat and prevents rust. roll pin hole was dead nuts against an aero barrel. install was the standard 3 min job with a punch set
Aero Precision carbine melonite gas tube is exactly what I wanted at a budget price. Pin holes lined up correctly with my Aero gas block. Black melonite resists carbon buildup. Cycles consistently on a 16 inch carbine.
Aeros carbine melonite gas tube works as expected on a 14.5 mid-build. Pin hole alignment was correct. The melonite holds up to the heat of suppressed shooting better than parkerized. Roll pin not included which is annoying for the price.
