The Timber Creek TCO AR Forward Assist Assembly is a complete assembly designed to ensure reliable cycling in your AR-15 platform. This standard-style forward assist in Flat Dark Earth (FDE) color helps you manually engage the bolt carrier group in case of a failure to fully chamber a round, an essential feature for maintaining performance during rapid fire or adverse conditions. Timber Creek FDE forward assist has no issues to report. Anodize matches Magpul FDE close enough. Spring tension is correct, pawl moves smoothly. Roll pin alignment was on the first try with a standard punch.
timber creek TCO forward assist in FDE anodize. FDE matches their FDE pin set and trigger guard. install is the standard roll pin and spring, took 3 min with proper punches. detent engages positive on the button face
Timber Creek FDE forward assist has slightly different FDE shade than my Magpul FDE parts in direct light. Mechanically perfect, spring tension correct. Roll pin alignment was on the first try. Function is exactly what you need.
