Holosun announces a lot of products. That is the business model, and on the whole it has been good for buyers, because the company put enclosed emitters and solar panels into price brackets that used to get you neither.
The side effect is that a Holosun announcement and a Holosun purchase can be a year apart, and the retail listings do not make the difference obvious. A live product page with a price and a photograph means the retailer has loaded the record. It does not mean anybody has taken delivery.

Holosun takes 4.5 percent of every optic selection across roughly 10,000 configured builds, which is 112 of 2,471 choices. EOTech takes 26 percent, at a median in stock price of 719 dollars against Holosun's 340.

That is not a knock on the product. Holosun has 195 separately priced in stock models in our catalog, which is the deepest optic range of any brand we track, and it reaches price points nobody else does. But the brand that dominates online discussion of red dots is seventh in what our builders actually put on a rifle, behind Sightmark and Viridian.
What actually reached shelves
Three of the 2026 models are at retail and can be bought normally.
The 507C-X3 is the updated version of the pistol dot Holosun sells most of, at around three hundred dollars. The 407COMP is a large window competition oriented open sight with a six minute dot, around two hundred and eighty. The EPS-CORE, an enclosed emitter sight stripped of the solar panel and multiple reticle options to hit a lower price, started shipping in September at around two hundred and thirty.
Those numbers are retail listings rather than manufacturer suggested prices, so expect some variation.
What is listed and not shipping
This is the longer list, and it is where people get stuck. Roughly eight models have product pages, published prices and no inventory as of September 2026.
That includes the 407C-X3 at around two hundred and eighty, the AEMS-EVO around five hundred, the dual emitter AEMS-EVO and ARO-EVO versions at around eight hundred and twenty and five hundred and ninety, the AEMS MACRO and MICRO around four hundred and forty and four hundred and thirty, the 507 PROMAX between roughly four hundred and seventy and five hundred, and the HM3X-MICRO magnifier at around two hundred and thirty.
The dual emitter models are the interesting ones and the most likely to be worth waiting for, because a sight with independently zeroed emitters can hold two loads at once. The rest are mostly refinements of things already on the shelf.

The waiting trap
There is a specific mistake worth naming. If you are building a rifle and one slot is waiting on an optic that has been listed since January, the rifle is not finished and the money is not saved. It is sitting idle while you hold a place in a queue that has no published end.
The optics that are shipping right now are, in most cases, the previous generation of the exact thing you are waiting for, at a lower price, with a service history. The generational improvement on a red dot between one version and the next is usually brightness steps, battery runtime and a slightly larger window. It is rarely the difference between hitting and missing.
What to buy instead, by slot
Rifle, non magnified
The AEMS family is Holosun's enclosed rifle sight and the current versions ship. The enclosed housing is the feature that matters on a carbine that lives in a truck or gets carried in weather.

If you are waiting on the HM3X-MICRO specifically, the full size HM3X ships and has for years, including a titanium version if weight is the concern.
Pistol, carry sized
The smaller footprint sights are where Holosun's catalog is deepest and where the shipping options are strongest.
Mounting a pistol dot is a footprint question before it is a brand question, and getting that wrong is the most common way people end up with an optic they cannot install. Glock red dot plates covers which plate matches which sight.
How to check status yourself
Two habits handle this permanently. First, filter retailer listings to in stock only rather than reading the catalog, because the catalog includes records for things that do not exist in a warehouse. Second, if a listing shows a price but the add to cart control is a notify or backorder button, that is your answer.
Manufacturer announcements are the least reliable signal of all, because they are written months ahead of production and are never retracted when a timeline slips.
