Why Backup Tactical
Backup Tactical makes drop in pistol barrels and add ons for Glock and Sig P320 owners. Parts are machined in small batches in the USA.
The 9mm barrels are 416 stainless with pull broached rifling, a SAAMI spec chamber and a 1 in 16 twist. They cover the Glock 19, 26 and 48 and the P320 Compact and full size, at about $150 to $170.
Finishes run from plain stainless to black nitride, FDE titanium nitride over nitride and green. The PROComp compensator, about $150, fits the Glock 17, 19, 43X and 48 and the P320. Mag extensions for the Glock 17 and 19 are about $60.
These are pistol parts, not AR parts. The finish carries a lifetime guarantee, but it's a small shop without much outside testing. We'd buy one for a threaded or colored Glock barrel without paying factory upgrade money.
