Why C&H Precision
C&H Precision started in 2012 building custom precision rifles, moved to Richmond Hill, Georgia in 2017, and the family owned shop now mostly machines optic adapter plates. If your pistol's slide cut and your red dot's footprint don't match, a plate is how you bridge them.
It also mills slides for optics and takes on custom gun work. The customer list goes past the public to agencies like the FBI, ATF and US Marshals and to military units, and the shop grew from about 5 people in 2019 to over 30 by 2022.
A plate adds a little height and one more joint between dot and slide, so a direct milled slide is cleaner if you're starting from scratch. We'd buy a C&H plate when you want to run a dot on a factory optics ready slide that wasn't cut for it.
